Come and join us for the second instalment of the West Midlands Cyber meet-up!
With industry-leading speakers and an open platform for questions and discussion, our aim is to start 2020 by encouraging cross-collaboration within the Cyber Security space here in the Midlands to promote sector development.
The event will run a little like this:
6pm - Welcome drinks / food and a chance to mingle
6.30pm - Introduction and first speaker - Nathan Britton - Business Applications and Cloud Security Practice Lead (UK) & OWASP Birmingham Chapter Leader at NTT Ltd. - “The Art of Why, How to Avoid Cybersecurity Pitfalls in the Cloud”
7pm - Second speaker - Alex Loquens - Network and Infrastructure Manager at The Royal Shakespeare Company - “InfoSec and the challenges at The Royal Shakespeare Company”
7.30pm - Chance to network / follow up on the talks
8.30pm - Event finishes
We are always open to those who want to showcase what they’re doing in the sector getting in touch if they’re keen to take centre stage. Get in touch with Alex Pitts if you’ve got something that you want to put to the group!
Huge thanks to our partners Silicon Canal who have kindly loaned us their awesome space over in the Engine Room!
