I started work on a 1 MIP VAX 11/780 which was the computing resource of a college of FE.

A Raspberry Pi 2 is 4,744 MIPS. Given that the Pi isn’t a CISC processor, that could be an overstatement but I’m fairly convinced it’s a much bigger number than 1.
