We are looking for a person with significant accessible UX/UI web application design experience and experience of developing mobile friendly applications.
We have two core online products/services which we want to continually improve and develop. We also want to improve the user’s experience of these services.
This role will be split across three areas with your primary focus being on front-end development. Some time will be required for product support, typically responding to email support issues.
We are currently working on a unique project into identity management with the Government Digital Service (GDS) on identity verification. One of our products, Digital Log Book, will be used to enable people to manage their own digital identity, information relating to them and their ability to access public services.
You will be a self-starter who is solutions focused, demonstrates a positive attitude towards the user experience and is self critical. You will also be a team player able to work within a small but growing business on a number of different projects. Hopefully you will be passionate about the user’s experience of websites and applications and the service we provide to our customers.
The role will involve you working directly with our clients, understanding their needs, working with end-users in focus groups and even getting involved in a secure user-group environment.
You may be required to make visits to our Edinburgh office for technical training, development and support. Further periodic travel will probably be required to London.

o Back-end development and support: dependent on Java experience.
