Homebrew Brum - work on your own project, exchange ideas and talk shop

(Marc Jenkins) #1

Hey all.

Just wanted to let you know about Homebrew Brum, a small meetup for people interested in working on their own website or project. We try to hold them on the last Wednesday of every month.

Next Meetup
Wednesday 29th March
Cherry Reds, Central Birmingham
Starts 6pm

It’s very informal - no talks and little structure. There’s usually about an hour to hack on your own site or project, and then a group discussion about publishing on the web, the indie web, and whatever else is interesting. You’ll also be able to demo what you’ve been working on if you like. There’s a chance to grab food and drink too.

There’s more info on our site, including an option to sign up to our mailing list to get a reminder about future events: https://homebrewbrum.co.uk/

Be cool to see some of you there

Would this be the same as BOC?

(Marc Jenkins) #3

Nope. It’s really for people who already know how to code and want to work on their own projects. There’s a bunch of Homebrew Website Club’s around the globe.
